This Simple Roast Turkey Breast is the perfect recipe for a smaller Thanksgiving get together.

What you need

tbsp butter

tsp fresh thyme
tsp lemon zest

tsp garlic powder

tsp salt
tsp oil
Instructions
0 Preheat oven to 425 degrees. 1 In a bowl make a paste with the butter, thyme, lemon zest, garlic powder and 1/2 tsp salt. 2 Carefully separate the skin from the meat over the breast and rub the meat with the butter mixture under both breasts. 3 Place the turkey on a sheet pan (I cover my pan with foil) and rub the turkey with the oil and 1/2 tsp of salt. 4 Bake for 30 minutes and then reduce the oven temperature to 325 degrees. 5 Bake for an additional 50 minutes or until an instant read thermometer in the thickest part of the breast registers 160 degrees. 6 Remove turkey breast from the oven and allow to rest for 15 minutes. 7 Carve and serve.View original recipe
