Indian Spiced Turkey

This Indian Spiced Turkey is one of my favorite ways to switch things up from a traditional roasted turkey. The flavor is incredible!

What you need

fresh lime juice

clove garlic

tbsp fresh ginger

tbsp garam masala

tsp cumin

tsp turmeric powder

tsp cinnamon

tsp kosher salt

lb turkey breast

apple

cup dried apricot

cup raisin

tbsp lemon juice

cup water

tsp curry powder
Instructions
0 Place the first 9 ingredients in a gallon zipper bag and use your hand on the outside of the bag to thoroughly combine. 1 Add the turkey breast to the bag and marinade for 1 hour at room temperature or refrigerated overnight. 2 Preheat oven to 425 degrees. 4 Place the turkey on a sheet pan or baking dish. Bake for 30 minutes and then reduce the oven temperature to 325 degrees. 6 Bake for an additional 50 minutes or until an instant read thermometer in the thickest part of the breast registers 160 degrees. 7 Remove turkey breast from the oven and allow to rest for 15 minutes. 8 Slice and serve with Apple Apricot Chutney (instructions below). Apricot Apple Chutney: 10 Place all the ingredients in a small pot and cook over low to medium heat for 10 minutes 11 Puree mixture in a food processor. 12 Serve on top or on the side of turkey.View original recipe
