What you need

tsp baking powder

tsp kosher salt

cup unsalted butter

cup dark brown sugar

egg nog

tsp vanilla extract

cup medjool dates

cup dried apricot

cup dried cherries

cup slivered almonds

cup chopped pecans
Instructions
0 Preheat oven to 300 F . 1 In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder and salt. 2 In the bowl or a standing mixer, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy, about 3 minutes. Add eggs and vanilla and mix to combine. 3 Gradually add the flour mixture to the butter mixture until combined. Fold in the fruit and nuts. 4 Pour batter into a greased 8 x 8 inch baking dish and bake until golden and set, about 45-50 minutes. 5 Let cool completely then cut into bars.View original recipe
